In Hindu Dharma, there exist 12 Zodiac Signs and 27 stars within our constellation. The zodiac, which is structured elliptically, can be partitioned into twelve houses. Furthermore, these houses are subdivided into twenty-seven nakshatras, also known as star constellations.
The notion of Astrological Gardens has arisen from the understanding that among the multitude of auspicious divine plant species, each Birth Star and Zodiac Sign shares a meaningful connection with a specific plant.
The selection of trees corresponding to zodiac signs is in accordance with the principles outlined in Varahamihira’s Jyothisya Shastra.
