Amrutam essentially refers to nectar or sweetness. Ojhus aims to cultivate over 2000 diverse fruit varieties, ensuring a constant supply of numerous fruits throughout the year. To date, we have amassed a collection of over 70 varieties.

Here are a few examples from our assortment:

  1. Thousand Fingers bananas (Musa ‘Thousand Fingers’) are one of many existing varieties of bananas. They are also known as Pisang Seribu and Bahasa Melayu. The Thousand Fingers banana plants prolifically produce very small fruits all along the stem. Bananas such as the Thousand Fingers variety are high in fiber, water, carbohydrates, and antioxidants. They do not contain much fat or protein. When green, bananas have more starch, which turns to sugar as the fruit ripens.
  2. Pithecellobium dulce, commonly known as Manila tamarind, Madras thorn, or camachile, is a species of flowering plant in the pea family, Fabaceae, that is native to the Pacific Coast and adjacent highlands of Mexico, Central America, and northern South America
